Internet Security

  • Should you respond or talk to people you do not know, on line, outside the Globaloria Community?
No because you don't know what they look like or who they are.
  • Can you be sure the person you are talking to has actually represented themselves accurately?
No because they could say that they are your age but they could be thirty years old.
  • Why do we ask you to hide  your personal information?
So that someone wants you to be their friend and they know where you live and how old you are.
    • Why must you never give your Social Security Number or bank account number to anyone online?
So that they don't take your money that you have in the bank.
